I write and direct short films, all of which deal with love in challenging circumstances. The first of these films, Undertow, has been shown at seven or eight festivals both in Canada and the US. It’s just been nominated for best director at Music and Film in Motion. You can see it here.
The Cost of Flowers, our second short, was a valiant effort. It’s possible I’ll never let this one out in public. I am proud of the lessons we learned with this one.
Our third short, Every Body Leaves, is a doc based on a conversation with a friend two days before his death. It was done with the generous assistance of the Ontario Arts Council. I’ll post a link here as soon as we’ve done a few festivals. It’s a gorgeous film.
